The following data is processed when you register on the platform and use our services:

• Creating and managing user accounts
• Providing YouTube channel analytics services
• Processing V and subscription transactions
• Providing customer support
• Ensuring platform security and performance
• Fulfilling legal obligations

Third-party transfers are carried out only to the extent necessary for the performance of the service, and the requisite data processing agreements have been signed with these parties.

Your personal data is protected by industry-standard technical and administrative measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and stored on secure servers in the EU region.

ViewLens uses the YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API to access your YouTube channel data. This section details how this data is collected, used, and protected.

OAuth Scopes

When you connect your YouTube account to ViewLens, you grant access to the following read-only scopes:

• youtube.readonly — Access to channel and video list information
• yt-analytics.readonly — Access to channel performance metrics (CTR, watch time, impressions, etc.)

Collected YouTube Data

Within these scopes, the following data is retrieved and stored:

• Channel metadata (channel name, subscriber count, total views, video count)
• Video metadata (title, publish date, duration, view/like/comment counts)
• Video performance metrics (CTR, average view percentage, impressions, watch time)
• OAuth access tokens (stored encrypted in secure Supabase database)

Storage and Usage

Collected data is used solely to operate the service and provide AI-powered analysis to the user. Data is subject to the retention periods specified in Section 5 of this Policy (until the account is closed). No YouTube data is sold or shared with any third party (except Anthropic API for AI coaching).

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

ViewLens's use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This means YouTube data will not be used for advertising targeting, data sales, or any purposes outside direct user-facing features.

Revoking Access

You can revoke your YouTube connection at any time:

• Via ViewLens: 'Disconnect' button on the Profile page
• Via Google: Remove ViewLens's access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
• By email: Connection revocation requests to info@viewlens.app

What does 'Disconnect' do?

When you click 'Disconnect' on your Profile or Channel Analysis page: (a) the OAuth token used by ViewLens to access your YouTube account is permanently deleted from our database, (b) your channel's active connection status is deactivated and removed from your list, (c) automatic data fetching (refresh) stops. This is a revoke action; your past analysis outputs (channel stats, AI reports, video metrics) remain stored until you delete your account.

To permanently delete all your data including past analyses, use 'Delete My Account' on the Profile page. This is your data deletion right under GDPR/KVKK and is irreversible.
